QI wins the Land Transport Excellence Award 2010 in the Young Innovator Category

Quantum Inventions was announced the winner of the Young Innovator Award at the Land Transport Excellence Awards (LTEA) 2010 ceremony held at the Ritz Carolton on March 31st 2010. QI won the award for its project "Bringing Intelligent Transport Systems to Consumers" – the main focus of this project was the development and roll-out of QI's Traffic Information Platform that supplies traffic data for use in multiple applications such as dynamic routing on websites such as qi.com.sg, online at Google Maps, and in mobile applications such as Google Maps for Mobile and SingTel's TrafficLIVE service.

Mr Saurav Bhattacharyya, CEO of Quantum Inventions, accepted the award.

About the LTEA

The inaugural Land Transport Excellence Awards 2008 ceremony was held on 18 March 2008 to recognise industry partners and individuals who have played an important role in Singapore’s endeavour towards developing an efficient, sustainable and people-centred land transport system. Moving into its second year, the Land Transport Excellence Awards 2010 honours the outstanding individuals and organisations whose professionalism, commitment to excellence and constant drive to continually create new benchmarks, have helped Singapore establish a land transport system which all Singaporeans can be proud of.

Standards Council of Singapore Merit Award

Mr. Saurav Bhattacharyya, CEO, Quantum Inventions, was presented the Standards Council Merit Award under the auspices of Spring Singapore on 18th November 2009. The award was in recognition of meritorious service and contribution to the Singapore national standardisation programme. The award was presented by Mr Edwin Khew, Chairman, Standards Council – SPRING Singapore, CEO/MD of IUT Global Pte Ltd.

Quantum Inventions is in the business of delivering routing and navigation applications, services and solutions to consumers and enterprise customers in the area of map-based solutions, in-car navigation and location/context sensitive purposes. The company works towards being an integrated global solution provider of real-time road/motorist information and applications, and seamless converged solutions for road user on mobile, web, in-car systems and location based applications/services.

QI wins the Merit Awards - Infocomm Local Enterprise Category

The Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) concluded their 3rd run of the SiTF Awards.

Merit: Quantum Inventions Pte Ltd – Traffic Information Platform (TRIP) & QI Navigator

Quantum Inventions, in collaboration with the Land Transport Authority (LTA), has developed the Singapore Traffic Information Platform (TRIP) that delivers real-time traffic information in standards-compliant, machine-interoperable formats over wired or wireless media (GPRS, 3G, Radio, Internet, etc.) to devices and systems for consumers, enterprises and government. QI Navigator accesses real-time information (traffic, weather, parking, etc.) from TRIP over the air and combines it with on-board traffic-aware routing (fastest and cheapest) to deliver context sensitive inputs and next-generation navigation features to motorists.

Quantum Inventions was one of the six merit award winners in Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) Awards.

The SiTF award winners will be representing Singapore in the Asia Pacific Information and Communication Technology Awards (Apicta) which will be held in Melbourne in December.

Locally developed ICT solutions win recognition

Quantum Inventions was presented the merit award at SiTF Awards 2009. The award recognised the most innovative infocomm technology solutions developed in Singapore by multinational companies, local infocomm firms, start-ups and students, as well as organisations that tap infocomm technologies creatively.
